GSR Meeting Minutes - Saturday December 4 2010
Hello CMAer’s,
Thanks all those that attended. All members of CMA are welcome. Here are some key points.
* Meetings that need support are:

Tuesday: Spinning into the Solution 7:30 pm @ 2530 Hyperion Ave. in Silver Lake (changing location soon)
Wednesday: Stick to the Solution 7:00 pm @ Weho D&A Center 626 N. Robertson Blvd.
Wednesday: Northeast CMA Candlelight 8:00 pm @ The Wall Las Memorias

Area Assembly: All GSR’s are invited to join us at next meeting on December 11, 2010 @ 1:00 pm Fresno Alano Club 1350 North 11th Street Fresno, Ca 93703-42103 (559)264-2730. We will be voting for our recommendation for trustee. The Los Angeles district will be endorsing Dale G.
Public outreach and information: Please join Roger D and the team for the next distribution (whore-tour distribution); time and date to be announced.
Helpline: Join Chuck C and the team on December 9th 2010 for the next helpline meeting. Helping other addicts find meetings is a rewarding commitment. It will be held @ 7:00 pm at 7:00 pm @ 1010 N. Hammond Street #305 WeHo 90069.
Events planning: Join Dale G. and the team for these upcoming events! We are in the planning stages of our 2nd annual comedy night “LOL” set for early 2011, a Valentine’s dance and our next spiritual retreat set for May, 2011. The next planning meeting is TBA.
Registration/Directory: Gregorio V. - The fall 2010 (revised 1) directory is available. Fresh copies can be picked up or place an order with Gregorio and he will have them ready for you at the monthly district meeting. You can also go to cmainla.com to download it.
H&I: Donald L. & Bob S. – We are looking for speakers to visit recovery houses to share their experiences. We are also in need of panel leaders. Speakers need 6 months clean and panel leaders need 1 year. Invite your sponsees to join as well. To sign up, please attend the next meeting of H&I on Saturday January 8, 2011, at noon at the Plummer Park, Weho.
H&I Long Beach: Mike M. – If you want to get involved in the growing H&I panels in Long Beach; please contact Mike M. through cmainla.com.
Chips/Literature: Kurt T. - Chips & literature are always available at each GSR meeting. The little burgundy 2010 edition of the big book is available for $2.00 apiece. There are seven approved pieces of literature. Directories and newcomer packets are also available. If you need these items you can come to the meeting or alert your GSR’s. If you notice that literature tables at your meetings are low on CMA literature, please talk to your literature person, secretary, or GSR about obtaining these items. The literature is also available as a download PDF at cmainla.com
* All committees are in need of volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to be of service and to give back to your community. If you are interested in any other committees, go to cmainla.com and send a message to the chairman of the committee you would like to be a part of or join us at the next district meeting.
